Academic Programs

We have more than 48 majors and 51 minors as well as several pre-professional programs to prepare students for advanced studies in engineering, dentistry, law, medicine, and theology.

Residential Life and Education

Making people feel welcomed and at home is one of our core values. Saint Anselm residential housing accommodates more than 1,775 students in various living arrangements, from traditional residence halls to suites, townhouses, and apartments. More than 97 percent of first-year students choose to live on campus. Housing is guaranteed for all four years to students who enter in residence as freshmen and remain in residence.

Dining Services

It's no secret we have amazing food. It's nationally ranked and homemade, freshly prepared daily by our chefs who aim to please. We offer unique menus to accommodate all your dietary needs. In addition to our main dining hall, there’s a coffee shop and pub and two smaller cafés, one of which serves Starbucks.

Career Development Center

Our career center is your go-to place for advice and resources on making the most of your college experiences. They help with resumes and interviews and professional development and offer events throughout the year to connect with employers. They even have more than 14,000 internship and job postings available to students.

Academic Resource Center (ARC)

Home to our peer tutoring and writing assistance program, the ARC offers students assistance in developing or refining the academic skills that lead to college success. They provide review sessions, workshops, seminars, small group tutorials, and more.

International Programs

Take your Anselmian experience global! Our Office of International Programs provides you with a variety of opportunities to pursue studies overseas including short-term, educational experiences led by faculty through a course or traditional semester and year-long terms. You might even consider studying with Saint Anselm students and faculty on the college’s other Hilltop in Orvieto, Italy.

Geisel Library

The library offers quiet spots to study or rooms for group projects. Our librarians are dedicated to helping you find the materials you need. In fact, each major has a designated librarian skilled and experienced in finding articles for that specific field. The library also offers special events and programs to help students succeed such as bringing in service dogs during finals week.

Meelia Center for Community Engagement

We believe in giving and serving. So much so that the Princeton Review ranked us #18 for student engagement in the community. Through our Meelia Center, you can volunteer at one of 50+ community agencies, or you can coordinate volunteers, or plan service events. The opportunities are endless.

Campus Ministry

In Campus Ministry everyone is welcome, no matter their religious beliefs. It’s a place where students serve others, explore their faith, and deepen their spirituality. The office offers a peer ministry program and interfaith prayer services. It also plans service programs and trips including Road for Hope where students raise money for charity by walking 130 miles to campus.

We bring a spirit of competition to everything we do. We have 17 varsity sports teams and several intramural and club teams. On our campus, whenever any Saint Anselm Hawk hits the field (or the ice, the court, or the course), it’s with a crowd full of Anselmians cheering them on.
